We work hard to bring any show community the highest quality Show dogs with working ability that we can. We also would like anyone considering breeding to review the dogs pedigree to make sure your dog’s pedigree does not interfere with ours. We will not breed a dog with related blood for health reason. 1 instance we may allow but if we see dogs with multiple line-breedings in it’s pedigree we just can’t do the breeding for ethical reasons. It is a known fact in real life that constant line-breeding causes health, soundness, and conformation abnormalities, not to mention many other problems. Quality is our first and foremost concern and goal. Also this is a Virtual Show Dog kennel. None of these dogs are real, Some of them may be modeled after real life dogs but are in no way affiliated with those dogs, their kennels, breeders or owners. We are, however, affiliated with multiple online virtual show dog communities related to the Sims 3 Pets. And they are The Sims Kennel Club(SKC) , The Sims Federation Cynologique Internationale(SFCI) , and our own Sims United Kennel Club(SCU) Kennel Directory Across Border’s Kennel is our first, foremost, & main kennel, but we do operate multiple other kennels for various reasons. We hold no rights to these communities(except for the Sims United), or games affiliated with these communities. Nor do we own any of the Custom Content, or other free content provided to those communities unless otherwise stated. What We Do Here at Across Borders Kennel we breed, Train, & Show dogs of the Border, Collie, Smooth/rough Collie, German Shepherd Dog & Chihuahua Breeds. We aim for quality first and foremost so we rarely offer litters to the public, but from time to time we will have a litter available. If you go to our reservations page you can see what future breedings we have. Some breedings are very advanced and will have no set date for the breeding as we are either waiting for a dog to title, or obtain a certain something before we do the breeding. Any litter is available to the public for what we call "Advanced Reservations" You may ask to be placed on these lists if you like with no limit to how many reservations you want. We just limit your puppies to 1 per litter to allow room for others. If you see a reservation that is full you may ask to be placed on a "Stand By" list in case a kennel/owner/facility drops out or is unreachable or changes their mind. Our Aging System As most people in the SKC know there is some form of aging system...every kennel is different but The Sims Kennel Club recommends 6 weeks=1 sim year...We find this to be rather awkward so we chose to do 2 months=1 sim year. Our dogs start showing at 1 year and stop showing in conformation shows at 6-8 years old, but they still continue to try and earn their agility, obedience and sports titles though until we feel they no longer can keep up. And then they are fully retired. Kennel Record Below are all of the majors our dogs have won over the years. He’s earned 5 Best of Breeds, 2 of which were specialty wins, 1 Best In show and 1 Award of Merit. He’s also proven his grit in simnational twice. Both times he made it to the group ring. He was an import to our kennel for some new show stock to add more blood to the kennel. and he performed beautifully. He also has a lot of talent for herding. We expect great things out of this male. We hope he turns out to be a great producer as well. Bitch Spotlight GCh. ABK’s Foxy Lady MACh. "Lucy" has always held a special place in our hearts from the day of her arrival to today she has been a great addition to the kennel. Ever since she started her show career she’s shown her star quality. Her first show was an Agility show and she placed Best In Class. Ever since that day she’s been the star of the show ring including placing well in 2 major shows. She was the first dog to earn a title, and the first to become a Multi Champion. To date she has earned 2 Best Of Breeds, 3 Best Of Groups, 2 Best In Shows & 2 Best In Class’ lifetime, along with a total of 42 points including 18 Conformation, 20 Agility, and 5 Obedience. She’s produced 2 litters which all puppies show great promise in the show and competition rings just like their mother.
